As Easter approaches, Zlatibor is, as in previous years, organizing a rich and diverse program for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
According to announcements and reservations, accommodation capacities are rapidly filling up, and a large number of guests are expected, both from Serbia and the region, who have decided to spend their free days on the golden mountain, enjoying all the benefits it offers. During the holiday period, a wide range of activities will be organized in Zlatibor, where the whole family can have fun.
At the Open Air Museum “Staro Selo” in Sirogojno, an Easter egg dyeing workshop will be organized, where participants will not only have fun but also learn traditional egg-dyeing techniques.
At the Gold Gondola’s midway station, on April 17, an Easter egg decorating workshop will take place, along with children’s games and competitions. On the same location, on April 19, an “Easter Egg Hunt” workshop will be held, where children of all ages can participate. Both workshops will take place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and will be free of charge.
At Dino Park, a favorite spot for the youngest visitors to Zlatibor, many fun activities will also be organized during the Easter holidays. On Good Friday, guests at Dino Park will have the chance to decorate Easter eggs with animators, while on Easter Sunday, there will be an Easter egg cracking competition, followed by a family party with dancing and traditional Zlatibor games. The fun and rich program isn’t the only treat for the little ones, as Dino Park will also be giving away many prizes such as scooters, toys, vouchers, and much more.
At the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Zlatibor, Easter will begin with the Holy Liturgy at midnight, followed by a second Holy Liturgy at 8:00 AM. At around 10:00 AM, the children’s choir “Young Citizens” will perform, and young visitors will have the opportunity to participate in an Easter egg cracking competition.
Zlatibor hotels have prepared special packages and benefits for their guests, accompanied by an organized holiday program.
The biggest Zlatibor attractions, such as the Stopića Cave, the waterfall in Gostilje, the Open Air Museum “Staro Selo” in Sirogojno, themed parks, and other local sites, will be open every day, ready to welcome a large number of tourists expected in Zlatibor during the holiday period.
