Special nature reserve Zasavica – Peace of untouched nature

How to get to the Special Nature Reserve Zasavica:
The special nature reserve Zasavica is connected by an asphalt road that is easy to reach by car or bicycle, 7 kilometres from Mačvanska Mitrovica, and you can enter the center of Sremska Mitrovica on foot or by bike via the Sveti Irinej pedestrian bridge. If you still want to travel from Sremska Mitrovica to Zasavica by car, it will take you about 15 minutes to drive 15 kilometres.
Enjoy the natural beauty, see different types of animals, such as mangalica, Podolian cattle, but also donkeys, whose milk produces one of the most expensive cheeses in the world. Don’t be surprised if the domesticated donkey decides to keep you company. Pet it and let the simplicity and modesty of being in nature completely dismiss all your worries.
The central place for tourists is the Visitor’s Center with an observation tower from which an unforgettable view of the nature can be seen all around. If you like the place, you can book accommodation in log cabins, glamping facilities and a camp.
You can explore the reserve by driving in an electric vehicle and by boat along the canals of Zasavica.

Opening hours and ticket prices for Zasavica:
From Monday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The ticket price is 400 RSD for adults and 300 RSD for children.
