Experience ethnic tradition in the Old Village Sirogojno Museum
The museum “Old Village” Sirogojno revives the traditions of Serbian villages and the spirit of mountain life. In the age of increasing digitization, staying in this space that firmly connects people with nature is a real vacation. It covers an area of 5 hectares and has about 50 buildings that were relocated and transferred from the surrounding Zlatibor villages.
How to get there:
Sirogojno is located on the Zlatibor mountain, the most visited tourist center in Western Serbia.
The easiest way to get to Sirogojno is by car from two directions. The first road leads from Užice on the main road to Zlatibor, but in the village of Mačkat it is necessary to turn onto the local road to Rožanstvo and Sirogojno. The road from the center of Zlatibor also leads to these villages. It is interesting to ride a mountain bike or electric bike on this road, because it is asphalt, it is not congested, but there are a lot of climbs and it is not suitable for family riding. Sirogojno is 23 kilometers from the center of Zlatibor, and the “Old Village” Museum is in the village itself.
