The Minister of Tourism and Youth, Husein Memić, announced that starting next Tuesday, May 30, citizens can start applying for 100,000 new tourist vouchers in the amount of 5,000 dinars.
“Due to, so far, the greatest interest of citizens in subsidized vacations in our country, the Government of Serbia has provided 500 million dinars for a new series of vouchers,” said Memić.

He invited the citizens to, in addition to Sokobanja, Vrnjačka banja and Zlatibor, which are traditionally the most sought-after destinations, to spend their vacation in around 4,200 catering facilities throughout the country, which is the record number of catering establishments in the voucher system so far.
“Vouchers have contributed to the development of domestic tourism more than any other state measure.” I will mention only one indicator, from 2015, when this system was introduced, until 2022, the number of domestic tourists increased from 1.3 million to more than 2 million, Memić concluded.
